Brad Pettitt

pettittDr Brad Pettitt has been Fremantle mayor since 2009, and is now in his third term. He was previously a lecturer in Sustainability at Murdoch University.

He has won preselection for the Greens to campaign for a seat in the WA Legislative Council at the election in 2021.

His mother's ancestors, the Bashfords, arrived on the Caroline, 12 October 1829. Another ancestor, Charles Mountjoy, arrived as a convict via Adelaide, 18 July 1855.
