His Majesty's Hotel

2-8 Mouat St, 1890, designed by T. Anthoness, built by Taylor.

The original hotel on the site at 2-8 Mouat St was called His Lordship's Larder. The current building, His Majesty's Hotel, now ND36, the School of Education, part of the NDU, like most of the buildings in these six city blocks of the West End of Fremantle, was briefly called by its former name after its renovation for the Americas Cup defence.
